Another Day Goes By In Ponyville

Just when the sun is about to disappear below the horizon, you can start feeling the cold breeze of the evening on your fur. Lyra and Bon Bon have reached the others only a few minutes before sunset, bringing the cake for the party. There are some who are very excited, and some who are already sleeping despite Sweetie Belle's singing performance. Scootaloo playing the bass only adds to the chaos. The third member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders carefully listens to Vinyl Scratch: working with a console will not be a secret for her anymore, even if her big sis apparently disapproves...

To make a long story short, another day goes by in Ponyville: a place in which partying with your friends is daily routine, having tons of fun is the norm and staying together is the true essence of living in a community.

So, let's just say that this is the sense of happiness and warmth I'm trying to deliver: I hope I managed to do it!

This is my entry for an art contest, and I started drawing it some time ago with the goal of completing it before the deadline. I was able to do it, but Crusaders of the Lost Mark aired after I started inking it and I didn't feel like modifying it afterwards to have it match with the canon events: for those of you who have already watched the episode, you know what I mean. Anyway, starting from my next pictures and comics, I will gladly adhere to the new course of the series!
